About the Artist, Catherine Kaulback
Wildlife and beautiful terrain of a rural river valley filled a childhood memory bank with endless art subjects. Added cats, dogs, horses, and even a camen (small alligator), birds, raccoon, snakes, and frogs lived with or visited her family's home. At the age of eight she bonded with her first pony, prior to many subsequent equine companions and enriching experiences. Marriage, two sons, interior design career, travel and three grandsons preceeded the business of Starring Artworks. Catherine views relationships between wildlife, pets and people as "energizing treasure". This is featured in her watercolor paintings. Along with intricacies of nature that supply zest, surprise, and/or appeal, Catherine attains meaningful connection of living subjects.
